New Delhi: Tom Holland is facing backlash because of the sexually explicit scenes in 'The Crowded Room'. On Twitter, a clip from the upcoming season of 'Spider-Man' fame got extremely viral.

The life of Billy Milligan, the first person to be cleared of a crime due to dissociative identity disorder, became the inspiration for the Apple TV series 'The Crowded Room'. The show centres on Tom's character, who is detained after a shooting at Rockefeller Centre in 1979.

Tom is seen dancing with actor Elijah Jones in a fairly terrifying show of sexual gestures and moves in the sequence that received a lot of backlash for him as well as his public persona. Later in the scene, in a controversial incident, Tom Holland is seen getting shots from Jones.

Fans of the actor have found the scenario to be overwhelming. Here is how they reacted.

After saying he was taking a break from acting after filming 'The Crowded Room' a while ago, the actor recently talked up about the movie industry.

During his appearance on Jay Shetty’s podcast, On Purpose, Tom said, "Look, I really am a massive fan of making movies but I really do not like Hollywood, it is not for me. The business really scares me. I understand that I'm a part of that business and I enjoy my kind of interactions with it, but that said, I am always looking for ways to kind of remove myself from it to kind of just live as normal a life as possible."

Tom Holland earned immediate fame for his performance in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'. He's dating Zendaya, who played a lead role in 'Euphoria'.
