New Delhi: 'Tiger 3', directed by Maneesh Sharma, has surpassed the Rs 160 crore milestone in India. The action flick is expected to make more than Rs 20 crore on the first Wednesday, according to Sacnilk.com.
On Sunday, Tiger 3 made Rs 44.5 crore [Hindi: Rs 43 crore; Telugu: Rs 1.3 crore; Tamail: Rs 2 lakh], on Monday, Rs 59 crore [Hindi: Rs 58 crore; Telugu: Rs 78 lakh; Tamil: Rs 22 lakh], and on Tuesday, Rs 44 crore [Hindi: Rs 43.5 crore; Telegu: Rs 4 lakh; Tamil: Rs 1 lakh]. On its fourth day, 'Tiger 3' brought in almost Rs 20.1 crore net for all languages in India. The movie has made Rs 167.6 crore so far.
Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi play lead roles in 'Tiger 3'. Katrina returns to her role as Zoya in the movie. Aditya Chopra is the producer of the movie.
The film review on ABP Live reads: The third installment turned out to be more engaging than 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai', even after an interminable flashback sequence. In fact, it wouldn't be a stretch to argue that Salman Khan has constantly rewarded his fans with the Tiger franchise. This time, he lived up to the hype unlike anyone else (for a non-Salman fan to say something like, it takes a lot.). His appeal is reinforced by a packed theater for an early show on the day of Diwali, but the film's performance can be gauged by the same crowd exiting feel content.
As a part of the YRF Spy Universe alongside characters like 'War' and 'Pathaan', 'Tiger 3' is the third entry in the Tiger series. Remarkably, it also features a post-credit scene with Hrithik Roshan and cameos from Shah Rukh Khan.
