Tiger 3 Box Office Collection: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif Starrer Collects Rs 94 Crore Worldwide On Its Opening Day

New Delhi: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 has opened to a great response from the domestic as well as the international audience. The film, that released on Diwali, collected Rs 44.5 crore nett in India and 94 crore worldwide. The film has become Salman Khan’s biggest opener till date. 

In a post on X, the makers, Yash Raj Films said the film had earned Rs 94 crore gross worldwide, making the film the highest-earning Diwali release in Hindi cinema. 

'Tiger 3' collected Rs 52.50 crore gross in India (Rs 44.50 crore nett) and Rs 41.50 crore from the overseas markets, the studio shared on social media. The tweet read, "History created on Diwali day! Love pouring in from all across the globe Watch #Tiger3 at your nearest big screen in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."

‘Tiger 3’ is the third film the spy franchise and sequel to ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai. Directed by Maneesh Sharma and also starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, the film is a part of the studio's ambitious spy universe that will see characters from Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' and Hrithik Roshan’s 'War' crossing the paths in future stories. 

Tiger 3 has a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan also features in the post-credit scene.

Set after the events of 'Pathaan', ’Tiger 3 sees Salman's titular spy race against time to save both his family and country.  

The trade experts are expecting the film to score Rs 165 crore in three days. 

Tiger 3 Review 
The film has opened to mostly positive reviews from viewers and critics alike. 

ABP Live's review of the film read: " The element of surprise that enriches even foreseeable content is missing in 'Tiger 3'. Even Pathaan's entrance moment is a bit stretched out and the scenarios have a formulaic feel. It could serve to ramp up the excitement, but it goes against the appeal of unexpectedness. On top of that, while some of the fight scenes are masterfully concocted, there are moments when the choreography seems hasty.”
