New Delhi: Yash Raj Films' highly anticipated espionage thriller, 'Tiger 3,' starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, started taking advance bookings on Saturday. Tiger has returned, and he intends to get his revenge this time. The action-packed film has sold a little over 10,000 tickets across the three national chains - PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis - for the opening day alone.
BookMyShow claims that most movie theatres have ‘Tiger 3’ shows every hour. On Sunday, November 12 at 6:05 AM, the earliest showing will be at PVR ICON: Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel Mumbai. At 11:55 p.m. on multiple 2D screens, just minutes before midnight on Diwali will be the last screening of the day.
‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, was the previous installment in the YRF Spy Universe, and it too had its debut screening at the same theatre at 6 am on January 25. The earliest non-IMAX show of ‘Tiger 3’, however, is in Mumbai at 6:30 AM at INOX: Neelyog, Ghatkopar (E).
Tickets for the Mumbai premiere of ‘Tiger 3’ on November 12 range from Rs 120 for the 10:30 a.m. show at the Bharat Cineplex: Kurla (W) to Rs 1,600 for the IMAX showings in the evening and night at the PVR INOX: Palladium Palladium, Lower Parel, Mumbai.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ is the third film in the series, which began with 2012's ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and continued with 2017's ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
The release date for ‘Tiger 3’ is slated for November 12th, 2023. Emraan Hashmi plays the villain, while Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are the leads.
In related news, fans are also hoping that Shah Rukh Khan may make a cameo appearance in 'Tiger 3'. Salman Khan's appearance in a memorable train scene in 'Pathaan' has piqued interest in the possibility that SRK would also meet Salman Khan in the film.
