New Delhi: Tinsel town Diva Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently busy shooting for her next film ‘Good News’ co-starring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. Bebo made her Bollywood debut with JP Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ opposite Abhishek Bachchan and was appreciated for her performance in the film. After she made her Hindi cinema debut, the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress appeared on ‘Rendezvous With Simi Garewal’. Kareena, while talking to Simi Garewal, shared several anecdotes about her childhood and how things were behind the scenes of ‘Refugee’.
During the interview, Simi asked her who she would want to go out on a date with and Kareena took Rahul Gandhi’s name.
The ‘Jab We Met’ actress emphasized on the fact that both of them come from illustrious families.
"Shall I say this, I don’t know if I should. But I don’t mind it’s controversial. Rahul Gandhi. I’d like to know him. I have been flipping through his pictures in a magazine and wondering what would it be like to have a conversation with him. I come from a family with a lineage of films and he comes from a family with lineage of politics. So, maybe we’d make an interesting conversation,’’ Kareena was quoted as saying on the show.

Kareena was spotted shooting for Raj Mehta’s ‘Good News’ in a Gurudwara in Mumbai. The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actress was seen rocking her faux baby bump as she was snapped by the shutterbugs. The film will see Kareena and Akshay in the role of a married couple who are trying to conceive a baby. The much-awaited film will hit the silver screens on September 6.
