The Vaccine War Trailer Out: Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi Return To Develop India's Indigenous Vaccine

Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri 'The Vaccine War' will feature Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pallavi Joshi as lead characters. 

The Vaccine War will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and the release date is set for September 28, 2023.

New Delhi: The trailer of 'The Vaccine War' is finally out. The film stars Nana Patekar and Pallavi Joshi. The trailer was shared by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri on his social media handle with a caption, "PRESENTING: The trailer of your film #TheVaccineWar. Film releases on 28th Sept 2023. Pl bless us. Nana Patekar leads a team of many women scientists on their journey to find a vaccine. Bringing back memories from the pandemic, the 'Vaccine War' trailer shows the trials and tribulations the scientists went through to create India's indigenous vaccine which would help prevent the spread of a deadly virus.

As the subject of the film suggests, most of the cast members are seen in masks throughout the film.

Frequent collaborators: Anupam Kher and Pallavi Joshi are seen in teh Vivek Agnihotri film.

The official synopsis of 'The Vaccine War' states, "Brace yourselves as we present to you India's first-ever Bio-science film, #TheVaccineWar - A True Story, directed by two-time National Award-winning filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, featuring an ensemble cast of National Award-winning actors including Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Raima Sen, Anupam Kher, Girija Oak, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Sapthami Gowda, and Mohan Kapur who will overwhelm you with their tour-de-force performances. The film is set to release in cinemas on September 28, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Indian Sign Language."

'The Vaccine War' is said to be inspired by scientists and researchers who worked tirelessly to develop the lifesaving COVID-19 vaccine as the globe was hit hard by the pandemic.

Special screenings of ‘The Vaccine War’ were held in the United States as part of Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi's India For Humanity tour recently.
