As stated in various US media reports, Movie studio Warner Bros in a statement said, "a member of The Batman production in Britain had tested positive for the Coronavirus". The sources did not give a name and didn't even mention for how long the shooting has been suspended but simply said, "Filming is temporarily paused"

Along with dozens of other movies and TV shows, the shooting for the film 'The Batman' was suspended in mid-March owing to the Coronavirus induced lockdown. After being shut for months, the shooting had resumed three days ago.

Last month on August 23, the teaser of the much-talked-about Batman film starring fame actor Pattinson in the titular part was released.

Initially the audience expressed doubts over the casting as the character has been notably portrayed by actors like Christian Bale and Ben Afflick. However upon the release of the teaser, viewers appeared to be pleasantly surprised by it. Netizens, who were trolling the choice of Pattinson, later raved the teaser of the film and his look in it.

Directed by Matt Reeves (the 'Planet of the Apes' films fame), 'The Batman' has been aiming for a 2021 release. Its release was pushed back earlier this year from June 2021 to October 2021. With at least three months of material left to shoot and now production coming to stand still once again, it remains uncertain as to when the movie will go on the floors.
