Starring an ensemble cast headed by star kids, Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor characterizing the three leads: Archies, Veronica and Betty respectively, the trailer looks like a modern mix of old and new.
Opening in Riverdale, 'The Archies' looks dreamy, other-worldly and a slice-of-human history not known so well.
The musical looks and feels like a Archies novel especially with the use of font that the Archies comics used getting translated to reality in the film's promotional stuff.
'Archies' trailer also shows the angst of the young gang wanting to do something despite having lived 25% of their life. As they reckon changing the world in the face of commercialisation and progress, 'The Archies' looks like a different film that has something to say, despite being rooted in fiction.
