New Delhi: ‘Bahubali’ fame actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently confirmed taking to her social media that she has been as COVID-19 positive and was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Last month, she also revealed that both her parents tested positive for coronavirus.

Taking to her Instagram, the ‘Petromax’ actress shared a message saying that despite taking being very disciplined on set, she contracted the coronavirus.

Her message read, “Although my team and I have been very disciplined on set. I unfortunately succumbed to a mild fever last week. After undertaking the mandatory tests. I was diagnosed as COVID- 19 positive. I admitted myself into a private hospital in Hyderabad to mitigate adverse health outcomes and after being under the care of expert medical professionals I am now being discharged. It has been a strenuous week but I feel relatively well. I am optimistic that I will recover fully from this health peril which is distressing so many people around the world. For the present. I will be self- isolating as advised. A big virtual hug to everyone for their love, concem and positivity. Stay safe. stay healthy, stay well! Love, Tamannaah”

To which, Samantha Akkineni commented, “Get well soon Tam.. lots of love”

‘Singham’ actress Kajal Aggarwal also commented, “Get well soon Tammy! Sending all my love and good wishes! Big hug!”

‘Karwaan’ actor Dulquer Salman wrote, “Get well soon !!”



Speaking on the professional front, the actress will be next seen starring in ‘Kaathu Karuppu’ and ‘Yen Endru Kadhal Enben’. She will also be starring in ‘That Is Mahalakshmi’ which is the Telugu remake of the Kangana Ranaut starrer Bollywood movie ‘Queen’.
