Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen penned a heartfelt post for her elder daughter Renee, who turned a year a year older on Saturday (September 4). The former Miss Universe shared two photos of the birthday girl on social media along with a note. Sushmita called Renee her ‘first love’ while sharing the post on her official Instagram handle.

The 'Main Hoon Na' star showered her daughter with blessings and love. She wrote, "Happpyyyyyy Birthday my first love @reneesen4 We are 22…how time flies!!! Two decades of being YOUR Maa…what an avalanche of blessings indeed!!!May God always bless you with his best…May you manifest all that your beautiful heart desires."

Sushmita Sen adopted Renee in 2000. She often shares photos with her two daughters on social media. Last month, she also shared a sweet post for her younger daughter Alisah, whom she adopted in 2010.

The Bengali beauty forayed into the OTT space with ‘Aarya’, which premiered on Disney+Hotstar. She managed to earn critical acclaim for her power-packed performance in the web series. Sen received the award for Best Actress at Filmfare OTT Awards for playing the titular role in Ram Madhvani's series.
The makers are currently busy shooting for a new season. 'Aarya', which also starred Chandrachur Singh and Sikander Kher, was based on the Dutch drama series 'Penoza'.
