Putting an end to the speculations about her relationship, Sushmita Sen shared a post on social media to confirm her break-up with Rohman Shawl.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen took to social media to confirm that she has parted ways with Rohman Shawl. Putting an end to the speculations about her relationship, the former Miss Universe posted a throwback picture with Shawl along with a note. She said that her relationship with Rohman was ‘long over’ but they will continue to remain friends. 

What Did Sushmita Sen Post? 

The Bengali beauty shared a happy picture wherein she and Rohman can be seen smiling while striking a pose for the camera.  She said that the duo started off as friends and will continue to remain so.

"We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over…the love remains. I love you guys," Sen wrote. The 'Main Hoon Na' actress used the hashtag 'No more speculations' while sharing the post on Instagram. 

 

Rohman dropped a comment on the post. He wrote, "Always."

 

 

Earlier this year, rumours about Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl's break-up surfaced on the internet. The duo refrained from addressing the rumours and even made public appearances together.

 

Sushmita and Rohman, who started dating in 2018, lived together at her house. According to a report in ETimes, Shawl moved out of Sen's place after their break-up. 

 

Sushmita Sen Underwent Surgery Before 'Aarya 2' Release

Last month, Sushmita shared a post to inform her fans that she underwent a surgery. She thanked her followers for showering her with their warm wishes on birthday, revealing that she had a successful surgery on November 16, 2021.

"I feel reborn this birthday in more ways than I can describe in words. Letting you in on a little secret….I completed AARYA 2 & then travelled to address my health….had a successful surgery on 16th Nov & I am healing marvellously every passing day…in this beautiful place!!! I feel the goodness of all your energies & the strength of your love!!! Keep it coming," she wrote.

On the professional front, Sushmita was recently seen in 'Aarya 2'. She is basking in the success of the second season of her hit web series, which premiered on Disney+Hotstar. Sen received rave reviews for her performance in Ram Madhvani's action crime drama.
