The sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left the entire nation in shock. The 34-year-old Bollywood actor committed suicide and was found hanging in his Bandra residence by his maid on Sunday morning (June 14).

The entire Bollywood & TV industry, family members and fans across the nation continued expressing grief and disbelief over the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, all of Sunday.

And while there are various theories of his sad demise circulating in the media, one report also claimed that Sushant was supposed to get married in November this year.

According to the late actor's cousin, the actor and his family were gearing up for wedding preparations. They were reportedly planning to pay him a visit to Mumbai soon after the relaxation of the lockdown.

The cousin revealed that the actor was to get married soon, while talking to the news channel IndiaTV.

Without revealing name of the girl, he said that the family was gearing up for the wedding, he added that it was going to be a private wedding in Mumbai with few family members and friends.

Unconfirmed rumours have stated that Sushant was dating actress Rhea Chakraborty, though many insist the two stars were just good friends.

Sushant was reportedly battling depression over the past few months and undergoing treatment for the same. His social media posts from the past couple of months reveal that he even tried yoga and meditation to battle his state of mind.

The actor hailed from Bihar and was educated in Patna and New Delhi, before shifting to Mumbai.

On the work front, he was supposed to be seen next in Mukesh Chhabra’s ‘Dil Bechara’, the offcial remake of Hollywood film 'The Fault In Our Stars' co-starring new-comenr Sanjana Sanghi. The film was scheduled to release in May but was pushed due to the on-going nationwide lockdown.

After establishing himself on the small screen with "Pavitra Rishta", he transitioned to the big screen with film "Kai Po Chhe". He went on to do projects including "Shuddh Desi Romance", the biopic "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story", "Kedarnath" and "Chhichore", among several others.
