The ED asked the Narcotic Control Bureau to look into the 'Drug angle' in SSR's case following which, the drug law enforcement agency officially registered a case against Rhea under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Now, in another twist to the already complex case, a new WhatsApp chat has come to the light which suggests that late actor Sushant's housekeeper delivered drugs to the 'Jalebi' actress.

According to a Times Now report, one of the deleted chats that have been recovered, Rhea earlier this year in April, allegedly spoke to housekeeper Dipesh Sawant about getting '1 bag of green for Rs 5000'.

If the reports are to be believed, Dipesh in another conversation with the actress said, "one of my friends called me said his Peddy is gonna deliver it her in Bandra it is the same stuff we get from our ped."

The news channel has also claimed that the WhatsApp chats accessed by them also revealed a conversation between Rhea and her aide Jaya Saha in which the actress allegedly said, "We currently have hash, right?"

Meanwhile, SSR's family lawyer Vikas Singh has come up stating that the drugs given to the late actor were not prescribed.

Elaborating on his statement, the lawyer said that the matter is really very serious because the family’s contention right from the beginning has been that there was an attempt to control the mind of Sushant Singh Rajput and for that purpose, all this was being done.
