New Delhi: The untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left everyone including his family members, friends and fans teary-eyed.  The tragic news of the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor sent shock waves across the film industry. Sushant’s fans are mourning his loss by sharing throwback pictures and videos of the late actor on social media.


Sushant’s father KK Singh has opened up about his son’s demise for the first time while talking to a media portal Tadka Bollywood. He recalled his last conversation which he had with the ‘Raabta’ actor regarding marriage.

The portal asked Sushant’s father about his wedding plans and he replied that the ‘Kai Po Che’ actor said that he would plan in February-March after completing a film.

“Iss par baat hui thi, usne bola tha ki Corona me toh nahi, fir uske baad ek film aa rahi hai, wo karlenge, uske baad February-March mein dekhte hai karenge. Yehi last baat hui thi uske sath meri" (We had spoken about it earlier. He had told me that no in Corona but after film releases, he will plan about it in around February-March. This was the last conversation we had about his marriage.),” the report in SpotboyE quoted him as saying.

When asked about the name of the girl with whom Sushant was planning to tie the knot, his father said, “We told him he should get married to a girl of his choice as he has to spend his life with her.”  He didn’t reveal her name or divulge any details.

The ‘Chhichhore’ actor’s family members recently organized a prayer meet for their well wishers at their residence in Patna. Bihar deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and other politicians have offered condolences to Sushant’s family at their house.

Talking about Sushant, the actor’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24. The announcement regarding the release date was made on Thursday (June 24).

The film, which is the Hindi adaptation of John Greens’ ‘The Fault in our Star’, will mark the Bollywood debut of Sanjana Sanghi. It has been directed by Mukesh Chhabra.
