Disha Salian’s Father Writes Complaint To Mumbai Police, Says ‘News About Her Involvement With Any Politician, Rape & Murder Hold No Truth’
Late Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Disha Salian allegedly died after falling off from the 14th floor of a building. In a letter to Mumbai Police, her father has said that the news about her rape and murder are cooked up.
New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian passed away on June 8 after reportedly falling off the 14th floor of a building in Mumbai. Six days later, the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor was found hanging at his apartment in Bandra. Social media is filled with several conspiracy theories which have linked Sushant and Disha’s death. BJP MP and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane alleged that the ‘Raabta’ actor and his former manager were ‘murdered’. His allegations created a stir on social media as Rane claimed that Mumbai Police was trying to save someone.

Disha Salian’s father Satish Salian has filed a complaint with Mumbai Police, accusing the media of tarnishing his daughter’s image. Mr. Salian requested Mumbai Police to take 'reasonable actions' against the journalists, influencers and politicians for their 'insensitive act' towards his family. He also refuted the rumours of Disha's rape and murder and said they 'hold no truth'.
Satish Salian said that the stories on the internet are misleading the people and tarnishing Disha and his family's reputation. He added that the family does not suspect any foul play in Disha Salian's case.

In his complaint Satish wrote, "I am writing this to you as my family has been continuously harassed by the journalists and media people in relation to the death of my daughter, Disha Salian. News about her involvement with any politician or attending parties with big names of the film fraternity, rape, murder are all the stories cooked by the these media people just to sell to the channels. These stories hold no truth. These are misleading the people and tarnishing my daughter's reputation and my family's reputation. These fake news are taking a huge toll on my family's health and we are being victimized by the media."
In a major development in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, the Centre has approved Bihar government's request for a CBI investigation into the matter. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court on Wednesday (August 5), "The Union of India has in principle accepted the recommendation by Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government to order a CBI investigation into Sushant's case." He added, "Notification regarding the same will be issued by end of day today."
