Sushant Singh Rajput's Dil Bechara Co-Stars Sanjana Sanghi & Swastika Mukherjee Hail SC's Verdict: 'Justice Will Be Served'
Sanjana Sanghi, who made her Bollywood debut with 'Dil Bechara' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, welcomed the Supreme Court verdict in the late actor's case.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday (August 19) pronounced its verdict on Rhea Chakraborty’s plea seeking transfer of the FIR registered against her in Patna to Mumbai in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The apex court ordered a court-monitored CBI investigation in the matter and dismissed Rhea’s plea. Soon after the verdict was announced, several tinsel town celebs including Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Parineeti Chopra celebrated the decision of the top court.

Sanjana Sanghi, who was seen as Kizie Basu opposite Sushant in his last film ‘Dil Bechara’, also welcomed SC’s verdict and called it ‘judgement of justice’. The newbie actress made her Bollywood debut with the romanic saga.
Sanjana took to her Instagram story to share a post in which she described the two-month period after SSR’s death as ‘treacherously painful’. She tagged Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti in her post and hoped that her family members find ‘peace’ in the ‘path towards the truth’
"Truth is mighty and will prevail. All the strength, peace and love to you for the path towards the truth that lies ahead @Shwetsinghkirti and the entire family," she wrote.

Swastika Mukherjee, who played Sanjana's on-screen mother in 'Dil Bechara', wrote, "FINALLY.

Sushant Singh Rajput's last film 'Dil Bechara' premiered directly on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24, 2020. The movie is the Hindi adaptation of John Green's novel 'The Fault in our Stars'. The Mukesh Chhabra directorial received a massive response from the audience. The flick reportedly got over 75 million views within a day of release on the OTT platform.
