New Delhi: The Supreme Court is hearing the plea of Rhea Chakraborty seeking the transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case from Bihar Police to Mumbai Police for investigation. As the Centre approved Bihar government’s request of transferring the case to CBI, the case is currently in the hands of CBI for probing. Based on reports, during the second session of the Apex Court hearing, the ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ actress alleged that she was in love with the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor and has been traumatised after his death.

The ‘Jalebi’ actress stated through her lawyer, “I was in love with Sushant Singh Rajput, I’ve been traumatised after his death but I’m being victimised right now”, based on a report of a leading news channel. The actress’ lawyer Shyam Diwan also stated that Patna Police has nothing to do with SSR’s death case and thus the case should be transferred to Mumbai Police for investigation.

The Supreme Court Justice, Hrishikesh Roy also interrogated Rhea and her lawyer about their stand on the CBI investigation on the case. Justice Roy further said that Rhea has asked for a CBI probe herself. Reportedly, he said, “You yourself have asked for the CBI to come in; how they come and what happens with it comes later. So your stand becomes that CBI should come in.”

On August 10, the ‘Chehre’ actress also filed a fresh petition in the SC over the alleged ‘unfair media trial’ against her. Rhea said in her petition that the issue has been blown out of proportion in the media and alleged that they are examining and cross-examining all the witnesses in the case.
