After Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14th June 2020, the world went into a state of shock and grief. Though the actor was found hanging in his Bandra apartment, his fans are finding it hard to believe that the actor had killed himself. They have been expressing their anger on star kids and Bollywood biggies since then. With so much going on, Sameet Thakkar has, in the recent development, filed a PIL in Bombay High Court in the death case of the actor.

Sameet Thakkar, with his PIL, is seeking the constitution for a probable SIT or CBI investigation into the death case of Sushant. Earlier, just after the actor’s death, a petition was filed in Bihar court against Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar for apparently abetting the Sushant’s suicide. According to a report of PTI, due to jurisdictional limitations, Bihar Court had to dismiss the case.

Recently one of our reporters took to his Twitter and confirmed the news by attaching a couple of screenshots of the PIL that was submitted.

There are many known personalities who have been fighting for the justice of the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor and seeking a CBI enquiry. Shekhar Suman, Roopa Ganguly, Shatrughan Sinha, Kangana Ranaut and BJP MP Subramanian Swamy are amongst them.

In other news, Mahesh Bhatt was summoned by the Mumbai Police earlier today. He revealed that he had only met the actor twice and have known him through the actor’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty. Also, the CEO of ‘Dharma Productions’ will reportedly be interrogated by the Mumbai Police on Tuesday. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh assured that if found necessary, producer-director Karan Johar will also be called in for summoning.
