New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is the third Central agency to join the probe of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Earlier, only the CBI and ED were investigating the case in abetment of suicide and money laundering case against Rhea Chakraborty and family. But as soon as the ‘drug angle’ emerged in the case, the NCB joined the probe and has currently taken Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant in custody. Rhea Chakraborty has also been interrogated by the NCB earlier today and reportedly, she has been summoned tomorrow as well.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s house help Dipesh Sawant has been arrested and has been sent to CBI custody till September 9. According to a report of ANI, the NCB has issued a statement on this matter.

The statement read, “On the basis of statements of Dipesh Sawant, house help of late actor #SushantSinghRajput, & digital evidence collected by NCB, it's clear that Dipesh is an active member of drug syndicate connected with high society personalities & drug suppliers: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).”



A report of ANI also stated that due to Rhea Chakraborty’s late arrival today for interrogation, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede said that the investigation could not be completed. The report added that she has been summoned tomorrow as well.

NCB Zonal Director was quoted saying by ANI, “We have recorded #RheaChakraborthy's statement. But, because of her late arrival today, the investigation could not be completed. So, she has been summoned tomorrow as well”



Meanwhile, the ‘Jalebi’ actress’ lawyer Satish Maneshinde told Metropolitan Magistrate Joshi that the brother-sister duo has never consumed drugs and they are ready to take a blood test.
