Mumbai Police officers are currently investigating SSR’s case, and as the police digs deeper into the matter with each passing day, more names and blames are emerging making the matter a grave concern.
Recently, Sushant Singh Rajput's family lodged an FIR against late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty at the Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna. The case has been filed against the 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' actress under sections 406, 420, 341, 323, 342 of the IPC.
According to the reports, Sushant's father Krishna Kishore Singh in his complaint against Rhea accused her of extorting money from the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor in the pretext of love and abetting him to commit suicide.
In the six-page FIR, KK Singh alleged that in 2019, Sushant had Rs 17 crore in one of his bank accounts. However, within few months in last one year, about Rs 15 crore out of the 17 crore were transferred from Sushant's account to accounts which were not related to the late actor.

In the FIR, actor's father, who is still recovering from the trauma after his son's death, has urged that all the bank accounts and credit cards of Sushant Singh be investigated to know how much amount Rhea, her relatives and other people known to her had duped from him.
The recent development has few days after Rhea Chakraborty demanded a CBI inquiry into the death row of Sushant Singh Rajput from Union Minister Amit Shah.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has so far questioned many A-listers from the B-Town including Rhea Chakraborty, Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mahesh Bhatt. Film maker Karan Johar will also be questioned soon.
