New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aditya Seal, who made his acting debut with ‘Ek Chhotisi Love Story’ opposite Manisha Koirala, is grief-stricken as he has lost his father. Aditya’s father, who was recently hospitalized after he tested positive for COVID-19, passed away on Friday (September 18). According to a report in a leading daily, the ‘Student Of The Year 2’ actor’s dad tested positive for novel Coronavirus earlier this month. He succumbed to COVID-19 on Friday morning.

The talented actor has completed all the formalities and is providing rock solid support to the family after his father’s death, the report added.

"Ravi uncle tested COVID19 positive on September 6, and was admitted to a nursing home on September 8. After that, he was moved to a medical facility, specially meant for COVID19 treatment, in Andheri. However, Ravi uncle passed away in the morning on September 18, which has left the entire family devastated. Aditya completed all the formalities, and is home with the rest of his family, looking after everyone,” one of Aditya’s friends told Times Of India.

On the professional front, Aditya will be next seen in 'Indoo Ki Jawani' opposite Kiara Advani. The comedy drama was originally slated to hit the silver screens on June 5, 2020. The flick will reportedly premiere directly on a leading OTT platform in the upcoming months. The makers recently released the first song from the movie titled 'Hasina Pagal Deewani'. The peppy number has received over 1.8 crore views on YouTube.
