Stree 2 box office collection: Makers of ‘Stree 2’ have confirmed that the movie is now the "number one Hindi film of all time" in India. The movie, which stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has surpassed the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ (only Hindi language earnings). 


Stree 2 creates history 


Taking to X, Maddock Films shared a poster of the film on Wednesday and a note. The poster read, "Indian box office's no. 1 Hindi film of all time!". 


The caption read, "Woh Stree hai aur usne aakhir kar dikhaya... Hindustan ki sab se sarvashresth (She is Stree and she has finally done it...India's best film) No. 1 Hindi film of all time!!!"


"Yeh itihaas humare saath rachane ke liye sab fans ko bahut bahut dhanyavaad (thanks a lot to all fans for scripting this history with us)... Stree 2 is still running in cinemas successfully... theatre aao, kuch aur naye records rachate hain (come to theatres, lets make some more new records)!" it added.

Stree 2 beats Jawan box office collection


Jawan's net collection in India for Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi combined is Rs 640.25 crore, according to Sacnilk.com. Its lifetime collection in Hindi stands at Rs 582.31 crore nett in India.


The action-thriller movie ‘Jawan’ was helmed by Atlee. Shah Rukh Khan plays a father and his son in the movie. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Deepika Padukone, and Vijay Sethupathi.


Directed by Amar Kaushik, 'Stree 2' has cameos by Varun Dhawan, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Akshay Kumar. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.
