About Stree 2
‘Stree 2’ stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee. The horror comedy is releasing in theatres on August 15. Directed by Amar Kaushik, ‘Stree’, which released in 2018, was set in town of Chanderi where a spirit kidnaps men. According to local belief, during a four-day religious festival, Stree gropes the town’s men, whispers their names, and vanishes if they look back. To protect themselves, the townspeople write "O Stree kal aana" in blood on their doorways and avoid going out alone after 10 p.m. The sequel picks up where the previous movie left off, carrying on the plot. But this time, the people of Chanderi join forces with the spirit to fight another ghost known as "Sarkata."
