SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ To Not Release On October 13, New Date To Be Announced Soon!

New Delhi: One of the most-awaited Pan India movies of the movie ‘RRR’, directed by SS Rajamouli, was supposed to hit the big screens on October 13 this year. But according to the latest update shared by the team of ‘RRR’, the release date of ‘RRR’ has been postponed. The new date of the movie has not been announced yet.
Sharing the update from their official Twitter page, RRR Movie tweeted, “Post production nearly done to have #RRRMovie ready by October’21. But as known to many, we are postponing the release but cannot announce a new date with theatres indefinitely closed. We will release at the earliest possible date when the world cinema markets are up and running.”

Also, last month, after wrapping up the shoot of the movie, RRR Movie tweeted, “And thats a wrap! Except a couple of pickup shots, we are officially done with the entire shoot of #RRRMovie. Incidentally finished with the same bike shot that we started with on November 19th 2018.”
On a related note, on the occasion of Friendship Day this year, the makers dropped the first song from the movie – ‘Dosti’ - which was released in 5 different languages viz Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
Helmed by ‘Baahubali’ director SS Rajamouli, ‘RRR’ features Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. It portrays the fictional story of two Indian revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The plot of the movie will revolve around their journey away from home as they started fighting for the country against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.
Other than these two talented actors, the movie will also star Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.
