The mystery behind Sridevi’s death is getting murkier with every new development and while her family still awaits the mortal remains of the late actress to be handed over by the authorities of Dubai  to India, looks like that might not happen very soon!



According to the latest update, the Public prosecutor was not convinced by the forensic reports and demanded the CCTV footages from the hotel. Earlier a report by Gulf news stated that the Dubai Police had begun probing into the matter and Boney Kapoor was being interrogated but now  another leading Dubai newspaper Khaleej Times claims that no questioning with Boney happened in the case as of now!

The report in Khaleej Times states that : As per standard police investigation procedures, director and husband of the late Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, only provided his testimony on Sunday morning. The conversation between police and the director took place when her body was discovered at Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel on the night of her death.

However, he was not called by the police on Monday for further interrogation. All media reports regarding further questioning are baseless, according to sources in the Dubai Police. Khaleej Times has confirmed reports on this matter.
