Sooraj Pancholi’s Mother Zarina Wahab Tested Positive For COVID-19, Was Put On Oxygen In Lilavati Hospital

The 61-year-old, veteran actress and mother of Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi had tested positive for COVID-19

Many popular Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Arjun Kapoor and many more have been infected from the novel coronavirus and the latest addition to the list is actress Zarina Wahab, who was admitted in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital for 5 days, last week. According to a report published in TOI, the 61-year-old mother of Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi had tested positive for COVID-19 and was brought in, with acute symptoms which even extended to her being breathless. The report further added that “the hospital authorities had put her on oxygen and she thankfully responded before the services of a ventilator may have been required. Zarina was wheeled in very quietly and it seems that her family had kept it under wraps barring few close friends and relatives.” When the publication contacted the doctor under whose care Zarina was hospitalised, he confirmed that Zarina was infected with the Coronavirus and said, "Zarina had pain in joints, bodyache, fatigue and fever. And, her oxygen level was low when we admitted her." Though the actress hasn’t responded to any call and text message regarding the same and it is still not known yet if Zarina has tested negative. Apparently, she has isolated herself well enough at home. We wish her a speedy recovery!
