People in Andhra Pradesh's Srikalahasti poured milk on Sonu Sood's poster to express gratitude towards the actor for his humanitarian work.
Srikalahasti: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who emerged as a messiah for the migrant workers during the COVID-induced lockdown, is now actively helping the people amid the challenging times. People from all walks of life have showered the ‘Dabangg’ actor with blessings and love for his humanitarian work.
Citizens in Andhra Pradesh's Srikalahasti got together to express their gratitude towards Sonu. A Twitter user shared a video from the event which was headed by Puli Srikanth. The people can be seen pouring milk on Sonu Sood’s poster in the viral clip.

“In Srikalahasti of Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district, #SonuSood's life size photo was showered with milk. The event was headed by Puli Srikanth, who tried to convey to everyone that they should take Sonu Sood as an inspiration and help others, through this program,” the user wrote on the micro-blogging site.
The ‘R Rajkummar’ actor, while responding to the tweet, said that he feels humbled. Check out the video right here!
Popular TV actress Kavita Kaushik expressed her displeasure over the wastage of milk at a time when people are dying of hunger.
"We love Sonu Sood and the nation will be indebted to him forever for his selfless acts, but I'm sure even Sonu will be unhappy with this foolish and uninspiring act of wasting milk in times where people are dying of hunger.. why are we so extra always with everything ??," the 'Bigg Boss 14' contestant tweeted.
Sonu has launched several initiatives to extend help to the people amid the COVID-19 crisis. He is bringing oxygen plants from France and other countries for installing them at different places in India.
According to a report in a news agency, he is planning to install at least four oxygen plants states like Maharashtra, which have been severely affected by the pandemic.
Sonu said that the oxygen plants will solve the problem of the people, who are suffering from the virus.
"We have seen a lot of people suffering because of the unavailability of oxygen cylinders. We have got it now, and are already giving it to people. However, these oxygen plants will not only supply to entire hospitals but will also get these oxygen cylinders filled up, which will solve a major problem of the people suffering from Covid-19,” Sood was quoted as saying by ANI.
On the professional front, Sonu will be next seen in 'Acharya' and Akshay Kumar starrer 'Prithviraj'. He recently announced a new film-'Kisaan', which will be helmed by E Niwas.
