Sonam Kapoor Shares Stunning Pic From Rhea's Wedding, Says 'We Sisters Will Always Be...'

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor shared an adorable photo with sister Rhea Kapoor from her wedding on social media. The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ star penned a heartfelt post for Rhea and said that she feels ‘honoured to be the sister of the most beautiful bride’. 

While Sonam donned a shimmery light-blue traditional outfit, her sister Rhea wore a white ethnic dress for the wedding. The ‘PadMan’ actress completed her look with a heavy mang-tika and matching earrings. Sonam and Rhea's outfits were designed by Anamika Khanna. 

“Side by side or miles apart, we sisters will always be connected by heart. Honoured to be the sister of the most beautiful bride. Love you,” the caption for the post read. Sonam's mother Sunita Kapoor, Karan Bhoolani, Sanjay Kapoor, Kanika Kapoor and others dropped comments on the photo. Check it out!

Rhea Kapoor's Wedding Photos Go Viral

Rhea Kapoor tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Karan Bhoolani in an intimate ceremony on August 14. The couple got married in the presence of their loved ones at Anil Kapoor’s bungalow. 

Rhea and Karan took their relationship to the next level after dating each other for 12 years. The bride posted a photo from the engagement ceremony along with an emotional note. 

"12 years later, I shouldn’t have been nervous or overwhelmed because you’re my best friend and the best guy ever. But I cried and shook and had stomach flips all the way through because I didn’t know how humbling the experience would be. I’ll always be that girl who had to come home to juhu at 11 pm before my parents fell asleep. Only until now I didn’t know how lucky I was to feel torn. I hope we make a family so close that we have many, many loves of our life," Rhea wrote.

Anil Kapoor hosted a wedding bash at his residence to celebrate Rhea and Karan's marriage. The likes of Farah Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor attended the fun-filled party. The entire Kapoor clan got together under one roof to celebrate Rhea's wedding.

Last month, Sonam returned to India after staying in the UK for close to a year. She got emotional after meeting Anil Kapoor at the airport.  Speculations about her pregnancy have been rife ever since she returned to Mumbai from London. The 'Aisha' star had squashed the rumours that suggested she was pregnant by sharing a post on her Instagram story. 

On the professional front, Sonam will be next seen in Shome Makhija’s ‘Blind’. The crime thriller is the Hindi remake of a South Korean film of the same name. Kapoor wrapped up the shoot for ‘Blind’ in February 2021 in Glasgow.
