New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor, who primarily resides in London with her husband Anand Ahuja and kid Vayu, has sold her Mumbai apartment. The lavish flat, which is close to Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex, was recently sold for a hefty sum of money.

The third-floor residence in Mumbai's Signature Island has been sold by Sonam for Rs 32.5 crore, reports suggest.

According to documents obtained by Squarefeatindia, the actor paid Rs 31.48 crore for the house, which she then sold for Rs 32.5 crore last week on December 29.

"The building in which Sonam sold the house is located on the Central Business District of BKC, a sought after place,” said Varun Singh, Founder Squarefeatindia.

It appears that Sonam didn't earn a sizable profit on the sale based on the prices that were made public. Four parking spaces are included with the apartment close to Bandra Kurla Complex. SMF Infrastructure Pvt Ltd is the buyer.

The actor currently has a stunning home and office in London's Notting Hill.

Sonam Kapoor made headlines in February 2022 when thieves stole cash and jewellery worth over Rs 2.4 crore from her husband's New Delhi home.

Meanwhile, The couple Anand Ahuja and Sonam Kapoor welcomed their son on August 20. The couple announced the name of their newborn baby, who has been named Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. Sonam took to Instagram to make the announcement in a lengthy post.

“In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives. In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength…In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja," she wrote.

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor's next film will be Shome Makhija's 'Blind', in which she plays a police officer who is blind.
