Rhea Kapoor and her husband are celebrating their first Diwali as a married couple.
Mumbai: Bollywood filmmaker Rhea Kapoor, who tied the knot with Karan Bhoolani in an intimate ceremony on August 15, 2021, is celebrating her first Diwali with her husband post their wedding. She took to social media to share glimpse from the fun-filled celebrations and wish her fans on the occasion of Diwali.
What Did Rhea Kapoor Post?
The film producer shared photos wherein she can be seen wearing a dhoti and bandhgala. Rhea, who is the daughter of Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, decided to wear something different for the Diwali celebrations. “Happy Diwali from me and my Diwali Dhoti and Bandhgala.”
Anil Kapoor, Karan Bhoolani and others dropped comments on the post. While Anil wrote, “Beautiful", her husband posted heart emojis. Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages and wishes.

Karan Bhoolani also posted two photos with his ladylove on social media. He wrote, "The light of my life. Happy Diwali."
Rhea and Karan got married in the presence of their loved ones after dating each other for a while. Rhea’s cousins Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor had attended her wedding in Mumbai.
For the unversed, Rhea has produced films like 'Veere Di Wedding' and 'Khoobsurat', which starred her sister Sonam Kapoor in lead roles.

Sonam Kapoor's Throwback Diwali Pic Goes Viral
The 'PadMan' actress reshared a throwback photo from her Diwali celebrations on her Instagram story. The photo featured late Sridevi, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor.
Sonam had captioned her post as, "Happy Diwali and an amazing new year!"
Shanaya Kapoor, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's next film, posted throwback snaps of her father Sanjay Kapoor, mother Maheep Kapoor and brother Jahaan to wish fans. She wrote, "Wishing everyone love, light, prosperity & happiness always. Happy Diwali."
