Bollywood singer & music composer Ankit Tiwari, the voice behind many hit songs like 'Sun Raha Hai', 'Galliyan', 'Tu Hai Ke Nahi' among others, ended year 2018 on a happy note. Ankit Tiwari & his wife Pallavi Shukla welcomed their first child before ringing in New Year 2019. Yes, the singer's wife gave birth to a daughter on 28th December and they are elated with the arrival of their little bundle of joy. The couple has named their newborn daughter as 'Aryaa', which means goddess.

Sharing his happiness, Ankit Tiwari told a leading daily that, “It’s hard to express my feelings in words. Holding my baby in my arms has been the best moment of my life. I feel on top of the world. My family is complete and more importantly, Pallavi is fit and doing fine.”

He further told TOI that, “Family comes before everything else for me. When I met Pallavi and we clicked instantly, I always knew I wanted to have my own family. That’s something Pallavi and I were looking forward to since we got married. The feeling of being around her during her pregnancy has been surreal and now, she has given me the best gift possible. We’ve named our daughter Aryaa, which means goddess.”

For the uninitiated, Ankit Tiwari and Pallavi got married last year on 23rd February 2018 with Kanpur girl, Pallavi Shukla, a mechanical engineer. Before his wedding, his name got embroiled in controversy when he got arrested in 2014 for allegedly raping a woman but was acquitted in 2017. Before saying 'yes' for getting hitched, Ankit had a conversation with Pallavi about the same & sorted out everything.
