The ‘Bajirao’ of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ was slapped 24 times by a veteran actor. Yes! You read that right.
According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, Ranveer was slapped by Raza Murad who is the playing the role of Jalaluddin Khilji and he was supposed to slap Ranveer in a shot. But things didn’t happen the way they were supposed to be. Flawless Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali wants everything the perfect way round.
The shot was re taken, almost 24 times to be precise and by the end of it, the ‘Ram Leela’ lead was left with a red face.
Well, there is no doubt that Ranveer’s work in any movie has been phenomenal. So taking these 24 slaps would not have been hard for him. He is one of the finest and dedicated actors of Bollywood and will continue to remain one.
Ranveer has confirmed about this news on Twitter.
‘Padmavati’ is a story of a legendary queen mentioned in Padmavat. The lead role of ‘Rani Padmini’ is being played by the gorgeous diva of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone. Shahid kapoor plays the role of her husband while Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of Delhi Emperor ‘Alaudin Khilji’.
