Hungama 2 Release: Shilpa Shetty Urges Fans To Watch Her Comeback Film, Says It Shouldn't Suffer Due To Raj Kundra's Arrest
Shilpa Shetty requested her fans to watch her comeback film 'Hungama 2' on Disney+Hotstar and 'not let it suffer' because of her husband Raj Kundra's arrest in an alleged adult film racket case.
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra’s arrest for his alleged involvement in an adult film racket case has become the talk of the town. The Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police had arrested the businessman for allegedly producing and circulating pornographic material on mobile apps.
Shilpa, who was missing from the big screen since a long time, is making her comeback to films with ‘Hungama 2’. The much-awaited film will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on July 23.
While movie buffs are quite excited to see Shilpa in a film after 14 years, her husband has been embroiled into several controversies, which many believe could act as a setback to ‘Hungama 2’.
The ‘Dhadkan’ actress shared a post on social media to request her fans to watch her new film on OTT. She said that the entire cast and crew of ‘Hungama 2’ have worked very word to deliver a fine film in order to entertain the audience.
Shetty without mentioning any details, said that the film shouldn’t suffer.She tweeted, “I believe and practice the teachings of Yoga, “The only place where life exists is the present moment, NOW. Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever!”
"So today, I request you all to watch Hungama 2 with your families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film. Thank you. With gratitude," she further wrote on the micro-blogging site.

The comedy drama also stars Paresh Rawal, Meezan Jaaferi and Pranita Subhash in key roles. The highly anticipated flick has been directed by Priyardarshan, who helmed 'Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal and Rimi Sen starrer 'Hungama'.
The trailer and songs of the film received a mixed response from the audience on social media. It remains to be seen how well the movie performs on the OTT.
Mumbai Police Records Shilpa Shetty's Statement
A team of Mumbai Police officers recorded Shilpa's statement in connection with an alleged adult films racket case in which her husband was arrested. The police officials were seen leaving Shilpa-Raj's house on Friday (July 23) night after questioning the actress for over four hours.
