Mumbai: Shibani Dandekar, who turned a year older on Friday (August 27), shared a heartfelt post to express gratitude towards her well-wishers for their warm messages and wishes. She said that she had a special day with her friends and a ‘special guy’. There’s no prize for guessing that the ‘special guy’ is Farhan Akhtar. 


Shibani posted a photo with Farhan on her official Instagram handle to thank everyone for showering her with love. She wrote, “Had such a special bday with special friends and this special guy! The past year has taught me to celebrate the smallest of moments. Super blessed and very grateful. I’m blown away every year by the beautiful messages and insane amount of love! thank you to each and every one of you! still getting through them all! heart is full! #42 i’m ready for you .. let’s go.”

On the professional front, Farhan Akhtar was recently seen in ‘Toofan’. The sports drama premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video in July 2021. The film co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal received mixed reviews from the critics; however, Farhan managed to win appreciation for his performance as a goon-turned-boxer. 



Farhan will direct 'Jee Le Zaraa', which will feature Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Talking about Shibani, she was last seen in 'Four More Shots Please 2!'.
