New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan got arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) earlier this month. The star kid was arrested after the NCB raided a cruise ship rave party that was headed to Goa. Aryan Khan was arrested with Arbaaz Merchant and 6 others in the drug bust case.
SRK and Gauri Khan’s eldest son Aryan was detained by the NCB on October 2, 2021, and is currently under judicial custody in Arthur Road jail.
The NCB raided a cruise ship and busted a drug party where reportedly banned drugs like hashish, cocaine, and MD were recovered. Other than Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra, and Arbaaz Merchant were also booked by the NCB officials.
After getting arrested, Aryan and others were taken for medical examination. Later, the star kid along with Arbaaz and Munmun were taken to the court for recording their statements.
Though Aryan Khan has not been found in possession of drugs, he has been charged with consumption of the same reportedly. SRK’s son has been booked under sections 8C, 20B, 27 and 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Represented by advocate Satish Maneshinde, Aryan was presented at Killa court on October 3, where the court ordered NCB Aryan Khan’s custody till October 4.
Also, on October 8, 2021, on the occasion of Gauri Khan’s birthday, Mumbai Court rejected the bail plea of Aryan Khan and sent him and others in 14-day judicial custody in connection with the alleged cruise ship rave party case in Mumbai.
Aryan Khan has been denied bail for the third time since his arrest on October 2, 2021. His bail request will take place on Wednesday at 11 am in the Mumbai Sessions Court.
Meanwhile, amid these tough times, many Bollywood celebrities came out in support of Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan including Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Pooja Bhatt, Raveena Tandon, Shekhar Suman and others.
