Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, And Other Stars Sent PM Narendra Modi Condolences On Mother's Death

Bollywood celebrities sent Prime Minister Narendra Modi their condolences after his mother Hiraben passed away.

New Delhi: Following the passing of his mother Hiraben, Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan expressed their condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

Shah Rukh took to Twitter on Saturday to condole Hiraben's death. "Heartfelt condolences to @narendramodi on the loss of his mother Heeraben ji. My family’s prayers are with you sir. May God bless her soul," the 57-year-old actor tweeted.

Salman Khan likewise sent the prime minister a message expressing his heartfelt sympathy.

"Dear Hon. PM Shri Narendrabhai Modi, I can feel your pain as there is no greater loss than losing one’s mother. May God give u strength at this hour of need.. @narendramodi" the actor wrote in his tweet.

Following the announcement of Hiraben's demise, several celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Agnihotri, Jackie Shroff, Swara Bhasker, and Sonu Sood, paid tribute to the late prime minister's mother by sending their condolences on social media platforms.

Early on Friday morning, Hiraben passed away at a hospital in Ahmedabad. She was 99. PM Modi and his siblings cremated her mortal remains at a crematorium in Gandhinagar.
