New Delhi: After Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt complained of breathlessness on Saturday, he was immediately admitted to the Lilavati hospital. The actor underwent a swab test and fortunately, the results came out negative. The ‘Agneepath’ actor was kept under medical observation in the non-COVID ICU and later when his condition was stable, he was shifted to the normal ward. On Monday, Dutt got discharged from the hospital and returned to his residence. However, today, he took to his social media and broke out the news of him taking a ‘short break’ from work.

The ‘Kalank’ actor shared a picture on his social media and urged his followers to not worry as he is taking a break from work due to some medical treatment. He also thanked everyone for their support and assured that he will be back soon with their love and good wishes. The actor requested his fans to not unnecessarily speculate things and that his friends and family are with him. A rumour has been circulating on social media that Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with cancer.

The note read, “Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”



Speaking on the professional front, Sanjay Dutt’s next movie ‘Sadak 2’ will hit the digital platform Disney+Hotstar on August 28. He will also be giving voice in a computer-animated Bollywood film ‘Koochie Koochie Hota Hai’ directed by Tarun Mansukhani and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Prana Studios. He will also be seen portraying the character of ‘Adheera’ in ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’.
