Salman Khan’s Race 4 to go on floors before Dabangg 3?

Salman Khan’s 'Race 3' has taken the box office by a storm ever since it hit the silver screens on June 15. The Remo D’Souza directorial has become the second film of 2018 to cross the magical figure of Rs 100 crore in the first weekend itself. Although the film has received mixed reviews from the critics, the 'Tiger Zinda Hai' actor seems unfazed by it and has plans to shoot for Race 4 prior to 'Dabangg 3', a report in a leading daily claimed. Grapevines were buzzing with the rumours that the ‘Dus Ka Dum 3’ would shoot for Prabhu Deva’s 'Dabangg 3' along with Ali Abbas Zafar directorial ‘Bharat’. However, the report in the daily suggested that Salman would commence shooting for Race 4 first. A close friend of the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor told Deccan Chronicle that he is happy with Race 3’s opening box office collection. “Race 3 is one of Bhai’s biggest openers. And everyone around him, including his father, writer Salim Khan, whose opinion Salman really values, praised the film,” Salman’s friend was quoted as saying to the daily. But, Prabhu has to clear the decks in the South before he gets down to Dabangg 3 which won’t be happening until the end of 2019. Race 4 may happen before that,” the friend told Deccan Chronicle. A source told the leading daily that choreographer-director may not helm the fourth installment of the popular Race franchise as he is committed to direct a new film starring Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif.
