Salman Khan’s fans have not been able to control their excitement ever since he promised to entertain the audience on Eid 2021 with ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted’. Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours that the much-awaited film would get delayed again due to the COVID-19 crisis. The makers of ‘Chehre’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’ have already postponed the release dates of their respective projects due to the rise in number of Coronavirus cases in the country. Salman, while interacting with Kabir Bedi during the launch of his memoir, shared an update about the release of ‘Radhe’ on May 13.
The ‘Bharat’ star said that the makers are trying their best to release Radhe on its scheduled date but they might have to push the film to next Eid if the lockdown continues. He added, “If the COVID-19 cases go down and people follow all the precautionary measures and don’t break the government laws, then I think this will die off soon and if it happens, we will have Radhe in cinema halls on Eid.”
Salman further said that if the people don’t listen and the cases continue to increase, then it will pose problems for not only the theatre owners but also for the daily wage workers.
Last month, the 'Race 3' star shared a new poster of 'Radhe' to announce the release date of his film. He wrote, "Eid ka commitment tha, Eid par hi aayenge kyun ki ek baar jo maine."
'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' was originally slated to hit the silver screens on Eid 2020; however, it couldn't release due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film, directed by Prabhudeva, also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in key roles.
If things go as planned, 'Radhe' will clash with John Abraham starrer 'Satyameva Jayate 2' at the box office.
