Deepika Padukone’s name emerged in one of the WhatsApp chats with the initials that start with ‘D.’ The ‘Padmaavat’ actress can be seen asking for 'maal, hash' from a certain person 'K' in the chats, which have surfaced during the investigation. While the initial of ‘D’ has been conjectured as Deepika Padukone, the initial with ‘K’ has been identified as her manager Karishma Prakash, who is an employee at KWAN Talent Management Agency.
As soon as the news broke out, rumours started doing the rounds that Salman Khan has a majority stake in KWAN. However, the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ host brushed off all the rumours, clarifying that he does not have any direct or indirect stake in the talent management agency.
The ‘Dabbang’ actor’s lawyer Anand Desai released a statement which says, “Certain sections of the media are falsely reporting that our client Mr. Salman Khan, a leading Indian actor, has a majority stake in the talent management agency KWAN Talent Management Agency Private Limited. It is clarified that Mr. Salman Khan has no stake, directly or indirectly, in Kwan or any of its group entities. It is requested that media refrains from publishing false reports about our client.”
Meanwhile, the NCB on Monday questioned Sushant Singh Rajput’s talent manager Jaya Saha and celebrity manager Shruti Modi for more than 5 hours.
