New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau has intensified its investigation into the alleged Bollywood nexus with drugs mafia while probing the drug connection in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Earlier in the day, we informed you that drugs law enforcement agency summoned Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash and CEO of the Kwan talent management agency Dhruv Chitgopekar for questioning. The ‘Padmaavat’ actress, who is currently shooting for her next project in Goa, will reportedly be summoned by NCB.

After Deepika Padukone, Dia Mirza has now come the under the scanner of NCB. The agency is likely to summon the ‘Thappad’ actress after her name cropped up during the investigation in Sushant’s death case. Dia Mirza’s name came to the fore after drug peddler Anuj Keshwani mentioned the actress during the interrogation.

According to NCB sources, Dia’s manager, who was Anuj Keshwani’s girlfriend, supplied drugs to the actress. Anuj Keshwani has contacts with several celebs in the tinsel town.  The agency has reportedly laid its hands on the details of the drugs purchased by the ‘Rehnna Hai Terre Dil Main’ actress in 2019. Dia Mirza's name is mentioned in FIR no. 16/20.

Apart from Deepika Padukone, the names of several Bollywood A-listers including Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan have emerged in NCB’s investigation. The agency is likely to issue summon to the actresses for questioning in connection with the probe.

The NCB started its investigation in Sushant’s case after the alleged drugs chats of Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and others came to the fore.

The agency has arrested Rhea, Showik, ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s house manager Samuel Miranda, his house help Dipesh Sawant and others in the case so far.
