Salaar vs Dunki Advance Booking: Shah Rukh Khan's Film Trails Behind Prabhas Starrer In The Global Box Office

Prabhas starrer 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' will be up against strong competition at the box office.

New Delhi: Prabhas starrer 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' is finally scheduled for release on December 22. It almost happens simultaneously with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki', which releases in theaters on December 21. The two movies will be up against strong competition at the box office.

The makers of both films have already launched advance bookings abroad, even though domestic advance ticket sales for both have not yet begun.

According to Box Office Worldwide, Rajkumar Hirani's drama 'Dunki' brought in $566k till Tuesday afternoon, of which $185k came from North America, $68k from the UK, and $120k from Australia. A Times of India report states that the movie has sold about 5400 tickets in the US at 320 different sites for 915 showings.

In the meantime, 'Salaar', directed by Prashanth Neel, is far stronger outside than 'Dunki'. Girish Johar, a film trade analyst, revealed the two films' collecting at various venues.

Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and others are also featured in 'Dunki'. The main characters, played by Shah Rukh, and his three friends, want to go to a distant country in search of greater opportunities for employment. 

Meanwhile, 'Salaar' will be out in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The duration of it is two hours and fifty-five minutes. Shruti Haasan, Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy are among the actors who play major roles in the movie.
