New Delhi: Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao's father Satyapal Yadav passed away at the age of 60 on Thursday (September 5). His last rites were performed in Gurugram at Madan Puri cremation ground. Satyapal, who was admitted in Medanta hospital for the last 17 days, breathed his last on Thursday night.

He was cremated on Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the presence of his close family members and friends, as per a report in ANI.

Rao, last seen in 'Judgementall Hai Kya opposite Kangana Ranaut, lost his mother in 2016, while he was shooting for 'Newton'. The 'Stree' actor returned back to the sets just a day after his mother's death. He shared a heartfelt post on Facebook which read, ''Thank you for teaching me everything in life and for always supporting me in everything. I could have been nothing without you and your blessings. I am a proud son. I love you immensely and I’ll meet you again on the other side Maa.''

On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao has 'Made in China', 'RoohiAzfa' and 'Turram Khan' in his kitty. The release date of Hansal Mehta's 'Turram Khan' was revealed on Rajkummar's birthday last month.

The 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' actor will also team up with Priyanka Chopra for the first time for Netflix's upcoming film 'The White Tiger'.
