Rohit Shetty Unveils High-Octane Trailer Of Marathi Action Film ‘Raanti’ Starring Sharad Kelkar

Marathi film ‘Raanti' promises a thrilling cinematic experience, featuring renowned actor Sharad Kelkar in the lead role.

New Delhi: Samit Kakkad's next action-packed Marathi film, ‘Raanti’, is going to change the game for regional cinema. With legendary actor Sharad Kelkar at the helm, this Punit Balan Studios production promises to be an exciting cinematic adventure. On November 11, Bollywood action guru Rohit Shetty had the privilege of releasing the impactful trailer of the film.

‘Raanti’ is based on Hindu mythology and stars Sharad Kelkar as Vishnu, a brave hero who faces every obstacle head-on. He plays the role of the Narasimha incarnation of Lord Vishnu. His depiction epitomises justice and strength, brought to life by his fierce presence.

Director Samit Kakkad reflected on the spirit of the film and thanked Rohit Shetty for releasing the trailer. He said, “I’m incredibly grateful to Rohit Shetty for unveiling the trailer of Raanti. His support means a lot, especially as someone who has redefined action in Indian cinema.”

During the press conference, Punit Balan, the project's producer, expressed his excitement for ‘Raanti’, describing it as "a visual journey filled with action, drama, and emotion" rather than a simple film. He said, “With Samit’s direction, Sharad’s powerful performance and an incredible team, we’re thrilled to bring such a powerful story to Marathi audiences. We wanted to take the level of Marathi cinema to new heights, and Raanti is a bold step in that direction.”
