Karan Johar Announces Advance Booking For Ranveer Singh And Alia Bhatt Starrer 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani'

New Delhi: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are busy promoting their upcoming film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani' in full swing. The romantic-drama marks Karan Johar's return to the director's chair after a hiatus of six years, making it one of the most awaited films of the year, given its lead pair, the veteran actors and the entertaining storyline.

Going by the audience's response to the film's trailer and the songs 'Tum Kya Mile and 'What Jhumka', that has been trending on all social media platforms, the makers of 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani' announced the film's advance bookings opening on Monday. Filmmaker Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle and sharing a  new poster of Rocky aur Rani aka Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, he wrote, "With butterflies in my stomach and love overflowing for you all - I'm gearing up for a piece of my heart to enthrall you on the big screen!💜💜💜💜

As soon as Karan shared the post, popular celebs from Tiger Shroff to Zoya Akhtar and Shweta Bachchan expressed their excitement for watching the film in theatres.

A new song titled ‘Dhindhora Baje Re’ from the film was released on Monday. The track is sung by Darshan Raval and Bhoomi Trivedi, while the lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music of the song is given by Pritam. 

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani' stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as lead. The film also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan and is set for a worldwide theatrical release on July 28.
