During the difficult times of COVID-19, many celebrities from the film industry are coming forward to lend a helping hand to the people in need. Actor Sonu Sood has become a messiah for the migrant workers and is doing his bit to support them in this crucial time of the pandemic. It is now Riteish Deshmukh who has stepped forward to provide his assistance to an 85-year old lady who was seen exhibiting her ‘bamboo stick skills’ in the streets of Pune in a video. The video went viral on social media within a short span of time. Apparently, the 85-year old, Smt. Shanta Balu Pawar has been doing this to feed herself amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the video, the lady can be seen entertaining people by juggling bamboo sticks as she performs spectacular tricks. The pandemic has posed some serious issues with the financial condition of many people. People, especially the daily wage workers are facing some serious financial complications and striving to earn their living. However, people like ‘Warrior Aaji’ are putting their skills to work for tackling their financial plight.

Riteish Deshmukh took to his Twitter account and shared the video of the 85-year old requesting his followers to help him trace the lady. He tweeted, “Warrior Aaaji Maa...Can someone please get me the contact details of  her ...”



Popular Bollywood photographer Viral Bhayani also took to his Instagram and shared the viral video of the lady. His caption read, “This viral video from Pune is killing the internet

As soon as the ‘Ek Villain’ star received the old lady’s contact details, he tweeted thanking everyone for helping him out. He wrote, “Thank you so much -we have connected with this inspiring warrior Aaji Maa - incredible story.”


Sonu Sood has also recently launched an app ‘Pravasi Rojgar’ for helping the migrant workers find jobs. The app will have opportunities from over 500 reputed companies and will provide training to workers if required. The actor took his Twitter announcing the launch of the app and wrote, “Ab hai Rojgar Ki baari. @PravasiRojgar”



The ‘Banjo’ actor was last seen starring in ‘Baaghi 3’ alongside Tiger Shroff. He will be next seen giving his voice to a character in the computer-animated Bollywood film ‘Koochie Koochie Hota Hai’. The movie will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Prana Studios. Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Rani Mukherjee, and others will also be giving voice to different characters in the animated film.
