New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor, who returned to Indian in September 2018 after staying in US for the treatment of an unknown medical condition, recently made headlines again as he got hospitalised in Delhi. After hearing the news, Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt reportedly rushed to Delhi to be with the 'Amar Akbar Anthony' actor. Rishi, Neetu, Ranbir & Alia event missed Amraan Jain's wedding festivities due to the same. Rishi Kapoor took to his social media account today (February 4) to finally put an end to the speculations around his health.


The actor informed his fans that he got unwell due to Delhi's pollution while shooting due to which he caught an infection. However, he is now back to Mumbai. He tweeted: "Dear family, friends, foes and followers. I have been overwhelmed by all your concern about my health. Thank you. I have been filming in Delhi past 18 days and because of the Pollution and my low count of neutrophils, I caught an infection whereby I had to be hospitalized."


He further tweeted, "I was running a slight fever and on investigation, Dr.s found a patch which could have lead to pneumonia,was detected and is being cured. People seem to have assumed a lot different. I put to rest all those stories and look forward to entertain and love you. I am now in Mumbai."


On the career front, Rishi Kapoor will next be seen in the official Hindi remake of the Robert De Niro-Anne Hathaway starrer Hollywood comedy hit, "The Intern" co-starring Deepika Padukone. The film, produced by the 'Chhapaak' actress, will go on floors later this year and will release next year.
