After which she requested the authorities to make arrangements for her and husband Bharat Sahni to visit Mumbai.
The veteran actor was laid to rest at Chandanwadi crematorium in Mumbai’s Marine Lines on Thursday (April 30) evening. Although, Riddhima couldn't attend the funeral, she face-timed with Alia Bhatt to catch a glimpse of her father.
Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Randhir Kapoor were present at Rishi Kapoor's funeral.

Riddhima Kapoor will travel by road and is expected to reach Mumbai after a 1,400 km-journey, which roughly takes 18 hours.
As per a report by ETimes, permission was granted to Riddhima to travel to Mumbai by road. RP Meena, DCP Southeast, Delhi Police was quoted saying, "We gave permission around 10.45 am to five people to travel to Mumbai. We have contacted the family, and will provide assistance. We have only approved movement passes. It is understood that as train and flights are not operating, they will travel by road."
However, the family is still trying to get permission to fly through a charter plane and reach Mumbai quicker.
Though, no such information has been received by the airport authority. Srikant Kishore, DIG CISF, Delhi Airport, says, "We don't have any such information yet that the family wants to fly to Mumbai from Delhi."
Meanwhile, Riddhima who is a jewellry designer paid tribute to her late father by sharing an adorable throwback pic of the duo in an Instagram post, she wrote: Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday!
