As fans all over the world and Bollywood film fraternity are still finding difficult to cope up with the tragic news of Rishi Kapoor’s death, the Kapoor family have started preparing for the actor’s funeral. Rishi Kapoor’s last rites will be held at Chandanwadi crematorium in Mumbai’s Marine lines today.


Meanwhile there are reports that the late actor’s daughter Riddhima Sahni might not attend funeral of her father due to the on-going lockdown due to coronavirus crisis.

Reportedly, Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahani is in Delhi and now, the question is will she be able to attend funeral because of this lockdown?

According to sources,“Riddhima wants to attend the funeral. She is completely devastated but we don’t know what will happen.

Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45 AM IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukemia. Rishi Kapoor is survived by wife, actress Neetu Kapoor, daughter Riddhima and son Ranbir.

His death was first announced by colleague and Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan on Thursday morning.

Rishi was hospitalised on Wednesday morning after complaining that he was not feeling well.

According to reports, the 67-year-old actor was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. Wife Neetu Kapoor was at his side but he succumbed this morning leaving the entire nation mourning.
