Rhea Chakraborty Wishes For 'Power & Strength' To Withstand COVID-19 Crisis On Hanuman Jayanti, Hails Frontline Workers

Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty shared a post on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, seeking power from the Lord to fight the storm’ caused by the COVID-19 crisis in India. She posted a picture wherein she can be seen holding Hanuman Chalisa in her hand on her official Instagram. The ‘Jalebi’ actress quoted a line from Hanuman Chalisa and sought power and strength to tackle the pandemic, which is wreaking havoc in the country.
“Give us the power to fight this storm , Give us the strength to withstand this misery Give us your blessings to heal . Jai Bajrangbali,” Rhea wrote.

Rhea has been sharing verified COVID-19 resources on social media to help the people amid the health crisis. She also opened up her Instagram DMs to provide assistance to the needy at a time when India is grappling with the second wave of Coronavirus.
The Bengali beauty also lauded the frontline workers for working around the clock to safeguard the people. She shared a post on her Instagram story, expressing her gratitude towards the COVID-19 warriors.
“Let's go Mumbai !,Grateful to the Covid warriors ( frontline workers ) who are saving our beloved city! #heroes Be safe, be kind. United we stand. Love and strength to all of us ! May God bless us,” Chakraborty wrote.
Rhea remained in headlines throughout the second half of 2020 after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father registered a complaint against her and her family members, accusing them of abetment to suicide. The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested the actress in a drugs case linked to Sushant’s death case in September 2020.
The Bombay High Court granted bail to Rhea in October on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh. She walked out of Byculla jail after staying behind the bars for close to a month.
On the professional front, Rhea will be next seen in Anand Pandit’s ‘Chehre’. The film co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi was slated to hit the silver screens in April 2021; however, the makers decided to postpone the release date due to the spike in number of COVID-19 cases.
